As of right now I can say I’ve occupied this earth for two decades. My mother’s side of the family, sans my mother, decided to continue their war upon my long hair. They’ve been torturing my little brother and I for quite some time over the subject. They claim that it makes me a bad Christian and back there stance by quoting a verse out of context. I find this amazing since I am thoroughly involved in church, read my bible every night, prohibit cursing, don’t smoke or drink, and have a well known witness of honesty around everyone who has had to deal with me.

I finally found someone who was willing to say or do something with me about Fedora 9+ so I should hopefully be able to continue using Fedora. Well, I’ve gotta get to bed.

Do you remember the attempted friendship I thought had fallen through? It turns out that the employee had turned in the two weeks notice due to too much schoolwork and the manager who was told never said anything or left a note.

I recieved a call during which she explained all this too me and that her mother and father didn’t have a single problem with me.

Don’t let the title scare you, but do understand I’m feeling uneasy about continuing to use Fedora linux. I’m not leaving yet, but wanted to tell everyone that I would try gNewSense and “blag linux and gnu” in that order, should I have to switch.

Just as the title points out, I haven’t done much with Fedora 10 Beta. I am thoroughly worried that the video issue I had with Fedora 9(graphics are grainy and colours are awful) may still be present in F10. While it is a beta, Fedora betas have, in the past, been quite representative of the final product(Correct me if I’m wrong). Also, to those wondering about the bcm4318 wireless card, it still is not supported out of the box.

I don’t at any rate expect this beta to be the final product, yet at the same time I’m leery of what might the final product may be. Furthermore, I have a feeling that I may end up using Fedora 8 past end-of-life or switching to another linux distro.

I am way spazzed out right now. I just had a black eye(Regularly brewed coffee with a shot of espresso.).

Getting to the point of this post…I am subscribed to the Fedora Release Schedule Calendar(On Google Calendar) and I have noticed a recent change in the dates. Apparently the Final Development Freeze will take place tommorrow. I have no clue as to whether or not that will coincide with the Beta Release or if they are just going to wait until the 10th of October to release the Preview Release. If the schedule is true, then Fedora 10 should arrive on servers October 28th. The question remains as to whether or not this calendar is actually managed by someone of status within the Fedora Project or not. If so, I feel the need to have a more up-to-date wiki at fp.o.

Over the course of the last week, I’ve come ever closer to the realization that I react poorly with people. I find that as I try to be nice and caring people continue to find me mean and, at times, accuse me of being a stalker. I find this horribly confusing as I spend a large amount of time thinking about the correct and incorrect ways to interact with others.

At work, my supervisors really like me having me there, regardless of whether or not I am actually working. At the same time, I receive increasing amounts of ridicule and malice from people who tell me I’m mean and cruel despite my many attempts at being friendly.

I have troubles outside of work as well, but I do not want to go into great detail on those.

I’ve had two best friends in my life. One of which was my mother’s best friend’s son. He and I spent tons of time together until we got older. Now we haven’t spoken in a year. My other best friend was made at church about 9-10 years ago. Our friendship is still alive, but staggering.

I attempted a friendship with an employee at work, but the mother seems to have some type of a problem with me. I’m afraid she thinks of me as a stalker as mother’s in the past have. This is all despite the fact that I didn’t get any information from work. We just talked at work and I showed up at the school one day to ask if we could hangout at the local pizza place.

It’s matters like the preceding that really make me want to cry, because no matter how hard I try, I always seem to fail.

The Beta for Fedora 10 has been pushed back to Sepetember 30th.

Ask any developer what comes to mind when they think of Google and they will probable say, “…It’s always in beta.” Then again, I could be wrong. Regardless, the Fedora Project will be releasing the beta to the release that many hope will fix “Sulphur“, Fedora 10. I intend to do a better job of playing with FX than I did with F8 despite my busy schedule(See posts from October, November, and December 2007). With that in mind, I hope to land a live disc of the beta on either the 23th or the 24th. Keep watching the site as I give updates and possibly some new guides.
