Back when version 2.0 of Nexuiz released, I created an
installer so that less educated Windows users, or those who didn’t want
to unzip and create all the shortcuts themselves, could have a simple
efficient way to install Nexuiz. Shortly thereafter, I had switched to
Linux(Fedora Core 6) and was without a Windows machine to author exe
setups on. I stopped advertising my Nexuiz setup file, but with every
release, someone still hits up my server to get the 2.0 setup. As a
result, I have set out on a quest for a machine to author setup files
on and am proud to announce that starting this April, or May, I will
continue the Nexuiz Windows installer with whatever version is current
at the time.

Someone managed to hack the servers at Wordpress.org and changed the files for version 2.1.1 so that the files of the blog could be dealt with externally. Wordpress has released 2.1.2 as fix to the issue.

The date that titles this post is when most of my major updating will begin again. I’ll be taking my ACT on this date, but upon finishing, will also be purchasing 1GB of RAM and will be preparing for a switch to Fedora 7 Test 3(Why?).

The official release date for
“Installing the Air Force One Wireless B/G Broadcom 4318 card with Fedora Core 6” is 03-31-2007. The guide is currently in version 0.9.5(Release Candidate 2) after I noticed a minor omission in 0.9.0(Release Candidate 1). Providing no major corrections are needed, it will enter 1.0.0 . I’ll also be moving to Fedora 7 around mid April to be sure the guide works with Fedora 7(As of Test 2, the card still doesn’t work.). The Fedora 7 version will be released separately as 0.9.0 and will have small alterations in the steps taken due to different menu structures and any other changes that I may find between now and the Fedora 7 release.

I was checking out Kamisamanou.net at Google Analytics and noticed that, for the first time at Kamisamanou.net, we have a Windows Vista user. While Windows users aren’t necessarily part of the demographic this site is aimed toward, it’s nice to see that they enjoy my content(What little I actually have up right now.). I’m also glad to see that my website isn’t completely broken in IE(However that may change when I fix the blog…I hope it doesn’t). I really can’t wait to get back to the site and get some content up.

Normally I have at least a little time to devote to Kamisamanou.net, however with the ACT’s around the corner for me I really have been way to busy. So, don’t expect much out of me until April. I’ll still post every couple of days or so, but not nightly like I have been.
