Mmmmm..Vanilla!
Sometime this year, I’ll be putting up some forums, and I’ll be using Vanilla.
Since version 1 released in November of 2004, Firefox has, collectively, reached 300 million downloads. This doesn’t include updates, but actual downloads from mozilla.org & mozilla.com.

Well, the weblog is close to finished, which will result in a merging some time soon. I’m going to try to get the Rockbox userbar out in the next 24 hours, though it may take up to 48. Hopefully I’ll have the weblog moved over to the site in 72 hours. If anybody is wondering whether or not I’ll put up the del.icio.us search plugin page, I can’t say that I’m sure. I have found that del.icio.us has their own(it’s hard to find) and my two versions are both listed on the homepage of the Mycroft Project. Oh well, I need to go to bed.

This site is definitely a personal site, and probably my most personal project on it would have to be the weblog. So, after I find a clean theme, and strip it down, and make it identical to the rest of the site(see kamisamanou.net), this blog will move to the home page. I had originally planned to make them parrallel, but can’t quite figure out how. So, look for my blog to change location sometime before March 24th.

The linamp.org domain is now expired and should be available for register soon.
Well, I downloaded Opera 9, only to see that it failed to display my clock script. It also encountered some bugs with the Lightbox script, but not any that Firefox hadn’t encountered. I think I be rewriting much of the Lightbox script, I already have had to delete several lines of invalid code.
Hey, just posting. I don’t know if I already told you, but I got my Grado SR60 headphones in recently. They are frickin’ amazing. I’ve noticed a bug or two in Firefox. Internet Explorer has many more, but nothing critical. The design has been tested on multiple screens which follow:
The site looks pretty good and orderly on all of them. I test using every computer I can get my hands on, however the site is design on my laptop which runs Fedora Core 6(Linux) and with Firefox 2.0(Swiftfox). I’ll install Opera tonight and test the site on Opera tomorrow. Also, I had considered using Blogger, but quickly turned away from it. Oh well, I’m tired.
Note: The Fedora Userbar can now be found on kamisamanou.net.
Note that kamisamanou.net is now in the beta stage, therefore a bug or two may occur. It is also invalidly coded at the moment and I won’t claim validity until the site is “finished”. For those of you using No-Script, the list of Javascripts used on my page are a clock, and the Lightbox image viewer. The location print out on the pagebar(that colorful thing under the navigation) is done with php.
The bugs are few and far between, the layout is pretty close to being finished, and version 2.0 will be so much better than the first. The new design focuses on content while incoporating a design that some users will recognized right off the bat, and some will just enjoy for it’s simplicity, ease of use, and delivery of information. Kamisamanou.net 2.0 is not loaded down with flash or big images, so the frequent dial-up users won’t get smacked in the face. The design will be 100% standards compliant, yet it hasn’t hindered Internet Explorer 6 too badly.
On another note, I’m having some trouble getting the neccessary logo for the Rockbox Userbar. However, I do still expect a mid February release and I’m pulling for 02-14-2007.
